A GROUP of adult learners are celebrating after completion of their course at the Village Centre in Wisbech.
The 17 adults, aged between 20 and 50 were all working towards their Key Skills Communications qualification at either level one or level two.
For some this is their first taste of studying since leaving school. It has proved a great confidence booster and many of the group want to carry on to do other courses.
The Family Learning Service, which is part of Adult and Community Learning at Cambridgeshire County Council, delivered the course and Home-Start Wisbech brought the learners together.
Home-Start is a voluntary organisation supporting families with young children (under the age of five years) by offering practical and emotional support through a home-visiting befriending scheme.
