DETECTIVES are appealing for witnesses after a hole-in-the-wall cash machine, along with a large amount of cash, was stolen in Wisbech.
The theft took place between 10pm on Sunday, December 10, and 7.55am next day. Thieves broke into the building housing the ATM at the Tesco store, causing extensive damage to the door and brickwork.
Detective Sergeant Dave Simpson, who is investigating, said: "I would like to speak to anyone who was in the area of Sandown Road who can remember seeing anything usual or suspicious.
"Any information could prove helpful.
