Arsonists torched a car in Leverington which took around an hour to extinguish.

Fire fighters were called to the blaze at Roman Bank at 10.32pm on Thursday (6).

A spokesman for Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue said: “Firefighters arrived to find a car well alight.

“Wearing breathing apparatus they extinguished the fire using a hose reel and returned to their station by 11.55pm.
