MORE than 30 cannabis plants were seized by police during a drugs warrant at Walton Highway.

Officers from response policing and Terrington Safer Neighbourhood Team carried out the raid on the Trafford Estate on Friday (December 17).

Police discovered cannabis being cultivated in three separate rooms, along with associated equipment. Further enquiries are currently being carried out in respect of this offence.

Terrington Safer Neighbourhood Team Sgt Sam Pontin said: “Information or suspicions about drug dealing or misuse should be reported to police at the earliest opportunity. All information passed to police can help us take the necessary action to take drugs off the street and protect our communities from the potential harm.”
