Police have released CCTV images of people they would like to speak to in connection with an assault at a Wisbech pub last month.

A 48-year-old man suffered extensive facial injuries during the assault in the toilets of The Angel pub in Alexandra Road, Wisbech on September 11.

The incident happened at around 8.30pm and the man was taken to hospital.

DC Ralph King, investigating, said: “The victim was assaulted by one or more men in the toilet of the pub. “They were part of a group of six who immediately left on foot and in a vehicle. If anyone recognises any of the faces in the pictures shown, or if you are one of the individuals, then please get in touch.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact DC Ralph King at Wisbech CID on 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111, alternatively you can report online via www.crimestoppers-uk.org
