A stop smoking clinic is helping people to kick the habit in Wisbech.
Camquit, Cambridgeshire’s Stop Smoking Service, is running sessions at the Queen Mary Centre clinic on Wednesday evenings.
Val Thomas, consultant in public health at Cambridgeshire County Council, said: “There is clear evidence that you are more likely to die younger or suffer from ongoing diseases like coronary heart disease if you smoke.
“Camquit can quadruple your changes of giving up and their advice and help is free. They can put together a plan with you about how to quit and support you along the way. Give them a call.”
To get help quitting smoking, contact Camquit at 0800 018 4304, e-mail CAPCCG.camquit@nhs.net or go to http://www.camquit.nhs.uk
