THIS week's meeting of Wisbech and District Camera Club was a print show from three members of the club (two unfortunately deceased). The first half was presented by Tina Swaine, daughter of the late president
Neville Swaine and consisted of various prints both black and white and colour. Many were of
Neville's speciality landscapes especially of Scotland. David Hodgson then presented prints mainly black and white from the late Dan Grimwood with his speciality portraiture. The second half was by Colin Garford who presented his own prints both black and white and colour, ranging from the 50s and 60s to the present day. All were thanked by Cyril Halstead, president.
Results from First League Competition 2006/2007:
Monochrome, 1 Pat Ringham (Forty Foot), 2 David Hodgson (volcanic grasses); Colour, 1 Barry Clark (meercat), 2 David Hodgson (avocet); slides, 1 Mike Burns (mountain cyclist), 2 Pat Ringham (joy of steam);. Bourlet positions, 1 David Hodgson (10 points), 2 Pat Ringham (nine).
