NEARLY 200 air cadets, staff and civilian helpers braved cold weather to parade through Wisbech and honour the founding of the Air Training Corps.

The parade was led by 272 Wisbech Squadron Band and was reviewed by the Commandant of the Air Cadets, Air Commodore Gordon Moulds MBE.

Cadets from across the country were out in force as part of the day's celebrations.

A corp spokesman said: "A three-hour long parade was held in the town centre with cadets putting on a smart and disciplined display.
