A REGIONAL contractor has produced a festive boost of more than £5,000 to a children’s hospice charity following a hugely successful fundraising dinner.

Kier Eastern, part of the Kier Group, raised the money for East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH) at a glitzy bash in Suffolk. Directors and managers from the Wisbech office joined in the fundraising effort.

EACH supports families and carers of children and young people with life-threatening conditions across a number of East Anglian counties, including Cambridgeshire.

Liz Brinsdon, EACH’s corporate fundraiser, said: “We’re so grateful to the team at Kier Eastern for raising such a fantastic amount for EACH.

“We simply couldn’t continue our work supporting local families without the support of companies, like Kier, so their efforts are hugely appreciated.”
