A BANNED driver who got behind the wheel of a car in Wisbech on Sunday has had his driving disqualification extended by six weeks.
Drink driver Danius Martusevicius was originally banned from driving for 16 months back in April.
But on Sunday he ignored the ban, he gave a lift to a friend, and was stopped by police in Lynn Road.
Martusevicius, 22, of St Michael's Avenue, Wisbech, admitted driving while disqualified and without insurance. He was ordered to undertake 150 hours of unpaid community work. A new 12-month driving ban had the effect of extending his current ban by six weeks.
