A MAN suffered serious head injuries after an early-morning assault in Wisbech.
Police were called to Norwich Road at 4.40am on Saturday (August 11).
The victim, a man in his 20s, was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital and is currently said to be in a stable condition.
“A 26 and 27-year-old man arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm are currently in custody at King’s Lynn,” a police spokesman said.
Residents said part of the nearby area, including Park Street, was cordoned off after the incident.
