Arsonists torched a car on New Drove, Wisbech yesterday morning.

Firefighters arrived to find a silver Vauxhall Astra on fire at around 5.55am.

Wearing breathing apparatus they extinguished the fire using a hose reel and returned to their station by 6.50am.

The cause of the fire was deliberate said a Cambs Fire spokesman.

Anyone with information should contact police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
