FIRE spread from a shed to a block of flats last night as arsonists struck in Wisbech.
Two fire crews had to attend the blaze, which started shortly after 11pm in West Street.
Firefighters used breathing apparatus and hose reels to extinguish the fire, before returning to base at around 1.30am.
Damage was done to the bin shelter next to a block of flats, with some smoke damage to the flats themselves.
The fire has been confirmed as deliberate and Cambridgeshire Police have been informed. Anyone with information should contact the police, or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.
