Arsonists set fire to a disused building in Meadowgate Lane, Wisbech on Wednesday (27) afternoon.
After being called at 4.22pm fighfighters wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel and a covering jet to extinguish the blaze and a positive pressure ventilation fan to clear the smoke.
The crew returned to their station by 5.23pm.
“The cause of the fire was deliberate,” said a Cambs Fire spokesman.
