Presented by the in-house company RATz, Celebrating 40 Years brought together former cast members and theatre lovers on Thursday November 15.
A spokesman for the theatre said: “Back in 1978, a group of performers were looking for a space to rehearse their upcoming production to be held at the Isle College.

“They stumbled upon a strange building between the Wisbech Christian Spiritualist Church and the local boxing club.
“At the time, little did they know they had stumbled upon one of the oldest original theatres in the UK.

“They set upon the journey of reopening this historic venue and filling the stage once more with drama.
“Over the last 40 years countless volunteers have continued to bring Wisbech alive with theatre.”
