MEMBERS of 2 272 (Wisbech) Squadron Air Training Corps took part in the dedication of a memorial at RAF Bircham
Newton. It was part of the celebrations to mark the 40th Anniversary of the CITB training centre, now known as the National Construction College. The memorial was dedicated to all the personnel who served at the RAF station during the Second World
War. The 272 Wisbech Squadron formed the guard of honour for the event along with King's Lynn Squadron. The marshal of the
Royal Air force Sir Michael Beetham unveiled the memorial.
