A children's music group could be set for a return to the Fens after a teacher described a concert held at her school as "fabulous".
Chris Canham and Stewart Death, the duo behind Travelling By Tuba, travelled from their homes in Lancashire to give the 250 pupils at Ramnoth Junior School, Wisbech, an insight into the history of the tuba.
Helen Carrington, Year 3 teacher and head of music, said: "They sent a flyer in the post, which was pushed in my pigeon-hole, and we wanted children to experience the sounds of live music.
"They were fabulous. I would recommend them to any school and I am going to try to arrange for them to come back, this time to do a workshop."
A variety of tubas were also talked about and played, with children able to join in by playing tubas made from hosepipes.
n Our pictures show Chris Canham demonstrating the tuba, and some of the Ramnoth pupils joining in the music-making.
