CHILDMINDERS and youngsters took part in several Olympic style ‘challenges’ - and some events not seen at the Games.
Tracy Loughlin, Saffron Booth, Jennifer Cole and Rita Cooper, all NCMA registered childminders, took their children who they mind and their siblings to Leverington playing field last Wednesday for an Olympic day.
The ‘challenges’ included a sack race, hurdles, shot put, discus, relay races and running races.
All the children were given medals and a golden cup for taking part.
Mrs Cooper said: “Every child was an olympic winner for the day.”
