I WOULD like to take the opportunity to send everyone in Fenland special greetings and good wishes for a very Happy Christmas.
I have been Chairman of the District Council since May 2009 and have received tremendous support and encouragement.
There have been a number of successful events, including hosting the Armed Forces Day and Veterans Badge Presentation event on June 22 and the Macmillan Coffee Morning in September, raising 1,060.81 in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.
I took part in judging the Young People of the Year Awards in October and this event ensures that they receive the praise that they so rightly deserve. One of the winners was a local March teenager.

I wish each and everyone in Fenland best wishes for a Happy Christmas and a healthy and prosperous New Year.
