An 80’s disco is being held at the Queen Mary Centre in Wisbech with all profits going towards local homelessness charity, the Ferry Project.
Wisbech residents and locals are being offered the chance to let their hair down and dance the night away to the bangers of the decade, before the Christmas season gets underway. Fancy dress is optional, but there will be a prize for the best dressed for those who take part.
“This is a chance for locals to come together and support a service that helps some of the most vulnerable people in Fenland” said a Queen Mary Centre spokesman.
Tickets are available at the Queen Mary Centre or online (www.queenmarycentre.co.uk) at £10 in advance or £12 on the door.
If you cannot make the event, but would still like to make a donation, the Ferry Project is running a London Marathon campaign via Virgin Money Giving (www.virginmoneygiving.com/fund/FerryProject).
