38-year-old man dies after road crash

A 38-YEAR-OLD man was killed after a collision involving a Kawasaki motorcycle and a white van last Thursday.

Michael Jason Vaughan, 38, of Queen's Drive, Friday Bridge, suffered multiple traumatic injuries, including a basal skull fracture and significant brain injury, in the accident along the B1101 road that leads into the village.

The driver of the van and his two passengers were uninjured.

PC Dave Paul, of the Road Policing Unit, said: "I would appeal to anyone who witnessed this collision to contact me."
