Cambridge came alive with colour, creativity, and crowds for the return of the Out of the Ordinary Festival.
Thousands gathered in the city centre to enjoy the free outdoor arts event, which featured 70 performances from 80 international artists.
Deputy Mayor Cllr Amanda Taylor said: "I had the pleasure of attending the 2026 Out of the Ordinary Festival and it was wonderful to see the streets of Cambridge alive with incredible performers entertaining the crowds.
"Welcoming thousands of Cambridge residents and visitors into the city for a weekend of free entertainment was very special and judging by the joyful reactions, everyone enjoyed a fantastic weekend."
Highlights included Parade – The Giant Wheel by Autin Dance Theatre, a larger-than-life street spectacle that wound its way through Cambridge’s historic streets.
The festival coincided with Myriad, an inflatable labyrinth of tunnels and light installed on Jesus Green, which attracted 3,500 visitors during its week-long stay.
Cambridge City Council also thanked Cambridge BID, which has supported the festival since it began in 2023.
