Nine eateries across Cambridgeshire have been shortlisted for accolades at this year's British Kebab Awards.
Around 500 independent restaurants from across the country have reached the semi-finals across 22 categories.
The awards shine a spotlight on the entrepreneurs, families and employees behind one of Britain's best loved dishes.
Semi-finalists were chosen from thousands of public nominations received from across the country and range from leading restaurants to newcomers.
In Cambridgeshire, businesses have been shortlisted across categories ranging from best kebab restaurant to customer satisfaction.
Cambridgeshire's semi-finalists:
- Little Petra, Hills Road, Cambridge - Best Kebab Restaurant (South of England)
- New Bodrum Restaurant, Cambridge Street, St Neots - Best Kebab Restaurant (South of England)
- Tinyidea Food, Hills Road, Cambridge - Best Kebab Restaurant (South of England)
- Burwell Kebab Van, The Causeway, Burwell - Kebab Van of the Year
- Diamond Kebab Van, Arbury Road, Cambridge - Kebab Van of the Year
- Gourmet Kebab, Cambridge Road, Papworth Everard - Kebab Van of the Year
- Grilla, Bayfield Drive, Soham - Kebab Van of the Year
- Hungry Kebab, Davy Road, Cambridge - Kebab Van of the Year
- River Grill, Lower Cambourne, Cambourne - Kebab Van of the Year
Businesses receiving the highest number of eligible public votes in their respective categories will progress to the final.
The finalists will be formally announced on 15 October 2026 with the winners announced at a gala ceremony on February 23 2027.
