A family-run fish and chip shop has reopened after a burst water main forced staff to close its doors.
The Jolly Fryer in Wisbech had to temporarily shut on August 20 after the incident caused a significant drop in water pressure.
The team was left "broken" after Anglian Water told them the works would have to be extended to fix the extensive water leak which closed the road.
During the closure, a spokesman for The Jolly Fryer said: "Honestly, this has broken me, and it may sound silly to you all, but this is our life, my family's life our team's life.
"We rely on this shop to pay our bills, to make sure we can pay for next week's deliveries and all of the ever-rising bills, and this has completely devastated us again."
The restaurant reopened today (August 26), with the spokesman thanking the community for their "encouraging words and support".
Other businesses were also affected by the disruption, including Kimo's Barber Shop.
