A planning officer’s report said the original timber six-panelled front door had been replaced without planning permission or listed building consent.
The report said "modest and conservation-led" repairs were necessary for the building’s long-term preservation, adding the work would be carried out with suitable materials and traditional repair methods.
The report concluded that the work would preserve the character and appearance of the Wisbech Conservation Area.
