Students have achieved another strong set of GCSE results.
Celebrating the achievements are pupils at Marshland High School in West Walton, who performed particularly well in English and maths, with high levels of attainment across science, art, photography, and food technology.
Headteacher Craig Jansen said: "We are immensely proud of our students.
"These results are a testament to their incredible work ethic and determination, as well as the unwavering support from our dedicated teaching staff and families.
"To see such strong performances across both core and creative subjects highlights the vibrant, well-rounded education we strive to provide at Marshland High School.
"As students prepare to take their next steps into sixth form, college, apprenticeships, and employment, the entire Marshland High School community congratulates the class of 2026 on their well-deserved success and wishes them the very best in their future endeavours."
Among the top performers was Emelia Cook, who achieved ten Grade 9s, one Grade 8, and a B in additional maths.
She plans to study biology, chemistry, and maths at A-level at Springwood Sixth Form.
She said: "I didn’t think I would get this many nines, I was expecting a few more eights but then opening my envelope this morning – I just can’t believe it."
Nikolay Nedyalkov also achieved outstanding results, earning two Grade 9s, six Grade 8s, two Grade 7s, a Grade 6, and a B in additional maths.
He will study computer science, maths, further maths, and physics at sixth form.
Chair of governors Steve Cozens said: "Our governors are delighted to see our students rewarded for their efforts today.
