Plans have been revealed for a major development of new homes on farmland in a Fenland village.
Proposals have been drawn up for 24 new houses on a field at Emneth, near Wisbech.
They include a mix of five, four, three and two-bedroom properties, along with eight bungalows.
Four of the new-builds would provide affordable housing according to the developer, who is not named in planning papers submitted to West Norfolk Council.
The 4.5-acre site lies to the north of the main village, off Ladys Drove.
A planning statement says the scheme "mirrors existing development" to the west and south of the site.
The land was originally earmarked for 52 homes, but the number was reduced to 24 last year after discussions with council officers. They said the larger development would be likely to have been refused planning permission.
Access to the site would be via a new entrance off Ladys Drove and a footpath connecting the new estate to Emneth.
