Disappointed Wisbech Rainbow Unit members held a pirate party after missing the Wisbech Rose Fair Parade.
They decorated cardboard swords and bandanas, and made pirate versus Rainbows flags as part of their Guiding Sparkle badge.
Each girl also painted a wooden treasure chest, taking them home with badges hidden inside as treasure.
The group is now appealing for adult volunteers to help offer such activities to more girls.
Anyone who can spare an hour a week and wants to help a GirlGuiding unit in Wisbech is encouraged to get in touch.
A spokesperson said: "If you think this sounds like fun we are always in need of Adult volunteers."
