Pupils at Emneth Academy took part in a action-packed week of sporting and creative activities.
They enjoyed roller skating, poetry writing, and a colourful family run during the school’s annual Sports & Arts Week.
Lynsey Skate, PE lead at Emneth Academy, said: "Sports & Arts Week is all about building physical literacy in every child, giving them the confidence, competence and motivation to be active for life.
"Whether that’s finding their balance on roller skates, learning a dance routine, staying safe in water, or simply having fun with their friends on the playing field, every single activity this week has helped our children grow as movers, as performers and as part of our school community."
The week began with a trip to Skaters, where pupils tried out roller skating for the first time.
The KS2 Dance Club later performed a lively routine at the Corn Exchange as part of the West Norfolk School Partnership Festival.
Year 6 pupils also took part in a safe swim session as part of National Drowning Prevention Week.
Other activities included intra-team dodgeball and rounders, followed by the school’s annual Sports Days.
Events concluded with a Family Colour Run that brought together pupils, parents, and staff in a celebration of school spirit.
Art and curriculum lead, Mr Bazeley-Smith, said the week gave pupils a meaningful introduction to art and creativity.
He said: "Yayoi Kusama has spent her life using art to express joy, obsession and the power of repetition, and our children connected with that instantly.
"Seeing every single pupil contribute their own painted dot to a piece that now lives at the heart of our playground is incredibly powerful.
"The artwork and installations belongs to all of them."
Headteacher Mrs Elaine Huntington said: "I am incredibly proud of everyone at Emneth Academy."
