With the Met Office issuing an amber "extreme heat" weather warning across Cambridgeshire this week, some schools are expected to close early during the hottest days.
Temperatures by day are widely expected to exceed 30 Celsius, with the hottest areas potentially peaking around 38-40 Celsius.
Here are all of the schools in Cambridgeshire so far that have announced partial or full closures during the hot weather on Wednesday June 24, Thursday June 25 and Friday June 26.
- The Centre School, Cottenham
Early closure from 12pm on Wednesday and Thursday.
- Cheveley Church of England Primary School
Early closure from 1pm on Wednesday and Thursday.
- The Bellbird Primary School, Cambridge
Optional authorised non-attendance on Wednesday and Thursday.
- Stretham Community Primary School
Optional early pick up from 1pm on Thursday and Friday.
- Eynesbury Church of England Primary School
Optional early pick up from 1.30pm on Wednesday and Thursday.
- Steeple Morden Primary School, Royston
Early closure from 1.30pm on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
- In Toto Ed, Cambridge
Early closure from 12pm on Wednesday and Thursday.
- The Rackham Primary School, Witchford
Optional early pick up in the afternoon on Thursday and Friday.
- Huntingdon Primary School
Optional early pick up at 1.15pm on Thursday and mandatory early pick up oat 1.15pm on Friday.
