One recent review read: "Something for all the family. Lots of walks. Historic and working farm with animals up close, lovely gardens and trees.
"Places for picnics. The house is well worth taking time over. Volunteers eager to share their knowledge and make sure we didn't miss the most interesting bits. Could even keep children engaged."
Another added: "Been going here for years and love it. Great day out. The farms is amazing for kids with an incredible playground.
"Beautiful walks round the estate. The house is massive and the guides know their stuff and are always on hand to help out."
