Wisbech and Fenland Museum hosting Young Arts Open

The Wisbech and Fenland Museum is hosting the Young Arts Open exhibition until April 18, featuring 113 artworks by children and young people aged three to 17.

Sponsored by Wisbech Rotary and 20Twenty Productions CIC, the exhibition launched with a prize-giving ceremony on Saturday, March 28, and showcases bold, imaginative pieces created by some of the area's most promising young artists.

Dal Roy of Wisbech Rotary said: "The creativity of these artworks is our hope for the future and we're proud to have sponsored the prize money which we hope will encourage these young people and many more in the future to carry on making art."

Entry is free for all under-16s year-round and for guests of exhibiting artists throughout the run of the exhibition.

Visitors can view the artworks during museum opening hours from 10am to 4pm, Wednesday to Saturday.

A series of themed workshops inspired by the young artists’ entries will also take place during the Easter holidays.
