A former charity shop located on a Fenland town's Market Place is currently on the market for rent or for purchase.

The former British Red Cross shop at 38 Market Place in Wisbech is on the market with Maxey Grounds, with a price tag of £200,000 for those looking to buy the premises outright.

Those looking for a business premises in a central location, but are looking to rent rather than buy, can take on the property on a new lease for a period to be agreed between the potential tenant and the property's owner for £19,000 per year.

Maxey Grounds describes the building as: "A versatile and prominent retail property with basement and first and second floors prominently located on the Market Place and extending to 172.7m2 in total."

The British Red Cross, which was located at the premises for many years, has vacated the building, having closed the branch in December.
