A Freemasons Lodge has donated £1,000 to a Rainbow Guides group.
The Gild of Holy Trinity Freemasons Lodge No 6125 in Wisbech made the donation to the 1st Leverington Rainbow Guides.
The donation was made possible with the support of the City and University of Cambridge University Charitable Trust, the Breakfast Bruvvers Club, and personal donations from members.
The Leverington Rainbows, who meet weekly at Gorefield Community Hall, provide a structured programme of activities for girls aged four to seven years.
They rely on volunteer leaders and member subscriptions to cover essential costs, including hall rental and badge supplies.

Emma Warby, one of the group’s volunteer leaders, said: “This kind gift will enable us to provide the best possible experience for both current and future members.
"It will also allow us to support girls from less privileged backgrounds in our community, ensuring they too can benefit from the wonderful experiences we offer.
"This donation will have a lasting impact on so many young girls.”
The donation holds special meaning for Freemason Andy Clifton, whose daughter was a Leverington Rainbow 35 years ago.
