Fenland District Council's Marine Services joined forces with Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service to help rescue a deer that had got stuck in the River Nene.
The deer became extremely distressed when it couldn't get out of the water.
The Marine Services, who are based at Wisbech Port and Yacht Harbour, assisted the Fire and Rescue team while they tried to help the deer out.
Fortunately, the deer was injury-free and has now been released back into the wild.
