A man has been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and drink driving after a teenage cyclist was left hospitalised following a hit-and-run in Wisbech.
The fail-to-stop collision happened at 7.35pm on Sunday February 25 in Clarkson Avenue.
The cyclist, a 15-year-old boy from Wisbech, was taken to hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries, where he remains.
The driver of the car, a 45-year-old man from Wisbech, has since been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and drink driving.
He remains in custody at the Police Investigation Centre in King's Lynn.
