Cambridgeshire Police’s unit that investigates the region’s most serious crimes has taken over the investigation into a Wisbech man’s disappearance.  

David Cross, of South Brink, Wisbech was last seen on CCTV at 11.24pm on January 31 in the passageway by Nene Terrace.  

Police have now released these images as part of the ongoing appeal to trace him.

(Image: Cambridgeshire Constabulary)He was reported missing on February 4 by staff at the Ferry Project, an organisation that supports homeless people in Fenland.  

David, who is 35 and originally from King’s Lynn, is described as slim, 5’5”, with dark brown hair and was last seen wearing a grey or black hooded jumper, dark jeans and light trainers.  

His case has now been handed over to the Major Crime Unit, a team of specialist detectives from Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire.

“We are keen to hear from anyone who has seen David since January 31 or has any information about his whereabouts. Any information, no matter how small, could prove crucial to finding him.
