Cambridgeshire food reviewer shares her thoughts on Worzals restaurant near Wisbech.

I recently headed to Worzals, located near Wisbech, to try out their brunch menu.

I went for the rise & shine tater tots, which had bacon, sausage, spring onion, fried eggs, and cheese sauce.

It was good but got a bit repetitive as it lacked the meat component; I'm not sure I actually had any sausage!

It did have plenty of cheese, though, which created a great cheese pull every time I dived in for another forkful.

The black forest pancakes didn't photograph well as the ice cream had dropped.

However, these were the best bit - plenty of toppings and great flavour. I love everything black forest and they did not disappoint.

They had an amazing selection of pancakes, so I want to try more!

My friend had the Worzals Big Breakfast, the eggs were nice and runny, and the bacon and sausages were delicious.

The beans were quite juicy which, mixed with the tinned tomatoes, was a bit much for a fry up; fried tomatoes would have gone better but, overall, it was a tasty breakfast!

I had also visited before for a Sunday roast and it was amazing. This was before I started my Instagram food review page so I don’t have a full review, but it was massive and came with all the trimmings and I really enjoyed it!

The evening meal I have had in the past was again good. I had the ribs, and they were tasty with plenty of BBQ sauce.

They have a huge menu, so you are sure to find something you like, and it is always busy, so you need to book but that gives it a great atmosphere.

Portion sizes here are always massive which I love, definitely good value for money and a perfect place to take the family!
