A Cambridgeshire woman will host a craft market in March this weekend.

Nicola Hornsby's debut first ever 'Mini Makers Craft Market' takes place at The Wordsworth Room in March Library, on Saturday November 11 from 4-6pm.

Supported by March Library and The Rotary Club of March, the event's stall-holders are all local children and young people.

These include Eryn King and Matilda Hornsby, who helped to plan and organise the market, including attending a meeting at the library with library staff.

Artwork, bookmarks, cards, bracelets, anklets, chocolate Santa sleighs, tea towels and food will all be on sale.

The Rotary Club of March will also be selling their charity calendar, raising money for 'Kids Out', which is a day of fun activities at Sacrewell Farm for local children who wouldn't normally get the chance of a day out.

Nicola said: "Knowing some children who are wonderfully talented and enjoy making their homemade crafts, this gave inspiration to hold this event.

"It will be open to the public to come and have a look around and purchase some gifts and perhaps some little treats for themselves.

Entry to the market is free, refreshments will be available and there will be a colouring table to keep little ones entertained.
