Dog owners in the Fens could soon have a new secure park to exercise their pets in.
Tracey Turnbull has applied to create a secure dog walking park on land off Bar Drove at Friday Bridge, near Wisbech.
A planning statement says: "The applicant has chosen the site due to its proximity to safe access and egress and its position adjacent to the urban area of Wisbech which will allow people to enjoy a safe dog walking park due to the lack of similar facilities this side Wisbech."

The statement adds the facility would be used during daylight hours all year round.
The site, which would be secured with a 1.8m fence, would be accessed via Gosmoor Lane.
The statement says dog waste would be taken home by owners to be disposed of, or placed in an on-site dog waste bin which will be emptied regularly.
It adds: "Planning consent will allow for an important community-based activity without any conflict with adjoining occupiers."
