A teenager caught carrying £4k worth of Class A drugs and almost £1.5k cash in his rucksack in St Ives has been charged by Cambridgeshire Police.
Genei Mwaku, 19, of St Dominic Close, Wisbech, was arrested by neighbourhood officers in Welland Close, St Ives, on Monday evening (May 29).
Officers found and seized crack cocaine and heroin from the rucksack.

A spokesperson for Cambridgeshire Constabulary said: "After 36 hours in police custody, he's been charged with possession with intent to supply crack cocaine and heroin, criminal damage and possession of criminal property."

Mwaku has been remanded in custody and appeared at Huntingdon Magistrates Court on June 1, with the case adjourned until the next hearing at Cambridgeshire Crown Court on June 29.
