£40,000 worth of agricultural GPS systems were stolen from a farm in in Little Gransden and police are now issuing advice to farmers.

Cambridgeshire Constabulary say that there have also been three similar incidents this month, with agricultural GPS systems stolen in Sawtry, Stilton and Holme.

The force added that other police forces across England are also seeing a rise in these types of thefts.

"To put into perspective how much these systems cost farmers, at the theft in Little Gransden, £40k worth of systems were stolen," said a post on the Policing Huntingdonshire Facebook page.

"Our Rural Crime Action Team (RCAT) are working with the National Vehicle Crime Intelligence Service, other police forces and partners like the National Farmers Union to help combat these types of thefts.

"We need your help! If you see something that doesn't look right, it probably isn't.
