Outgoing ladies’ captain Julie Perry ensured a fitting send-off by winning at Tydd St Giles Golf Club.
The ladies’ section held a captain’s drive-in for this year’s skipper Sylvia Illsley.
All ladies were cheering on the new captain’s first drive in a competition won by Ms Perry, who donated her winnings to the Magpie Centre Riding for the Disabled, Ms Illsley’s chosen charity.
The charity offers activities for the disabled, such as horse riding and carriage driving in order to provide therapy and enjoyment to people with disabilities.

1st: Shane Sleath and Terry Pease - 52 points; 2nd: Wayne Alder and Clive Barber - 50 points.
Third ocb: John Kellegher and Brian Newby – 48 points; 4th: James Horscroft and Stephen Rowell – 48 points.
