Residents of Wisbech are invited to drop-in to the Queen Mary Centre for cake and free, friendly advice to help with the cost of living.

On February 6, residents can visit the free event, organised by Fenland District Council, at the centre on Queen’s Road between 10am-12pm to find financial help with the cost-of-living crisis from local support and community organisations including Rural Cambs Citizens Advice Bureau, energy advice charity PECT, Care Network and Healthwatch.

Cllr Sam Clark, the council’s Portfolio Holder for supporting vulnerable people, said: “You can get advice, ask any questions you may have, share concerns and find out about support you may not even be aware of, or simply come and enjoy some free tea, coffee and cake with other people from the local community.”

For more information about support to help with the cost-of-living crisis, visit: www.fenland.gov.uk/costoflivingsupport or call the council’s customer contact centre on: 01354 654321.

Or pick up a support leaflet from the council’s customer service centres at Fenland Hall, March, The Boathouse Business Centre, Wisbech, or your local library.
