Tydd St Giles golf club was “pleased” to present a £2,000 cheque to children’s charity, The Little Discoverers.
On Tuesday, December 20, the seniors section of the club handed over the cheque The Little Discoverers as their chosen charity for 2022.
Team leader of the charity Katie Fisher was at the golf club to accept the cheque on behalf of the charity from club organiser Dave Punshon.
Katie has thanked everyone for all their support and said that this “generous amount would be a huge benefit to the charity”.
In other club news, the Mens December Pairs has concluded.
Gino Ciuffini and Ady Bills won the event with 43 points, James Dack and Andy Hicks came second with 42 points, John Mallett and Andy Sleath in third with 41 points and in fourth is Jonathan Housley-Stott and Jimmy Watson with 40 points.
