Rose Lodge Care Home in Wisbech is preparing to welcome a dementia care specialist for its Understanding Dementia community event.
Deena Heaney MBE, a dementia care specialist, is coming to the home, on Walton Road, on November 16 to host the free event aiming to help educate those attending on dementia and those who have it.
Guests will have the opportunity learn from Deena, have their care related questions answered and meet others supporting those living with Dementia.
Meg Jones, general manager at Rose Lodge said: “We are all looking forward to welcoming our local community friends to Deena’s event.
“Deena really is a fountain of knowledge and a true expert in Dementia Care. It really is an event not to be missed and we feel very lucky to welcome her at Rose Lodge!”
The Understanding Dementia event on November 16 will run between 2.30 to 4.30pm.
