COME and have a cup of coffee with Fenland District Council’s Chairman next week and help make a big difference to cancer patients and their families.
Councillor Ralph Butcher is hosting a coffee morning at Fenland Hall next Friday (24 September) from 9.30-11.30am, in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support. The event is part of the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning.
All money raised will go towards funding more Macmillan nurses and health professionals and will provide vital practical, emotional and financial help for people suffering from cancer.
Cllr Butcher said: “Everyone is really welcome and I’d love to see as many people there as possible. Last year we managed to raise more than �1,060 and it’d be wonderful if we could do even better this time. We’ll be having a raffle and there will also be cakes for sale.”
Donations can be made on the day. Anyone who cannot come but would like to make a donation should post it to the Chairman’s Secretary, Fenland District Council, Fenland Hall, County Road, March, Cambs PE15 8NQ (please make cheques payable to Macmillan Cancer Support).
