THANKS to the splendid PR lady who dropped me a note informing me of the Cambridge restaurant offering a “menu d’amore” for Valentine’s Day, and regaling me with such offerings as “heart-shaped ravioli with butternut squash”.
Of course, it’s arguable that at 28 per head the menu is, as stated, “seductively priced”, but edible stem roses, romantic messages written in Italian and English and red jelly hearts “to slip into your Valentine’s pocket” had me reaching almost immediately for the reservations number.
