THEY do like their titles at March Town Council and following the flag raising duties allocated to Councillor Bernard Keane, comes news of a ‘promotion’ for Councillor Steve Count.
Town clerk Clive Lemmon’s report of a recent meeting notes that “due to Cllr Count’s interest in street lighting matters, it was unanimously agreed that he be appointed March Town Council’s Street Lighting Supervisor.”
One for the CV?
The council also has a Christmas lights committee and Mr Lemmon was able to report that Councillor Mark Purser was to become Chief Steward for 2011, Councillor Andrew Pugh to be MWP Deputy (deputy to Mark William Purser, silly!) and Councillor Trevor to be Father Christmas.
