YOUNGSTERS at a Fenland primary school learnt how to keep their area clean, safe and green last week as the council’s CrimeBUSter vehicle rolled into their playground.
Around 60 children at Parson Drove primary and pre-school spent sessions in Fenland District Council’s community safety vehicle. The bus continues to travel around the area to help educate youngsters as a comfortable information centre.
PCSO Sue Clarke showed a DVD and talked about the work police do across Fenland before FDC’s street scene leader Layna Warren spoke about improving where we live and discussing the problems which litter cause.
She said: “These days are to raise aspirations of young people in Fenland and give them idea of jobs they can do when they’re older.”
